Ste-Croix
Legacy Project Launches New Website.
The
Ste-Croix 2004 Committee has recently completed their new
website at www.stecroix2004.org . If you're reading this article
online you're experiencing the new site first hand.
The
bilingual (French & English) website was designed and
constructed by Tom Clark, a Charlotte County native.
"It has been a pleasure to work with the Committee members
in designing and building the site. The
experience has been very rewarding as I've always had a keen
interest in history."
"In
constructing the Ste-Croix website, I have enjoyed access
to the wealth of information the Ste-Croix Committee has gathered
over the years."
"Now
this information will be shared with the world over via the
Internet." said Mr.Clark.
Tom
Clark's company "digitales"
provides digital media services to organisations and individuals
in both North America and Europe. The company's motto "Personal
service in a Global Marketplace", certainly rings
true.
The
new stecroix2004.org website contains numerous local photographs
and hyper-links to local accommodation
providers, local information,
as well as an interactive map.
The map shows the Lower St. Croix - Passamaquoddy Area and
links to some key websites relating to the area. You can view
the map online at www.stecroix2004.org/location.html
.
By
the end of November 2006 the new SteCroix2004.org website
was attracting over 450 visitors a month.
The
number of visitors to both the website (online) and physically
to the Ste-Croix area will undoubtedly increase as the
website's pages are catalogued by Internet search engines
YaHoo and Google making local information readily accessible
to Internet users around the world.
Ste-Croix
2004 Committee invites any individual or group interested
in the continued development of the Ste-Croix International
Historic Site to contact the committee (info@digitales.ie.
